Your Denture Options

We offer multiple types of dentures to meet the varied needs of our patients.

  • TRADITIONAL FULL DENTURES

A traditional full denture is a removable restorative option that can replace an entire dental arch. This restoration will have a plastic base, made from impressions of your gums. Through a careful design process, Dr. Robles and our partner lab can make sure that your denture fits securely and comfortably. You will typically need to use a small amount of denture adhesive to keep the restoration in place.

  • TRADITIONAL PARTIAL DENTURES

Also removable, a traditional partial denture will replace a number of adjacent missing teeth. This prosthetic will also have a plastic base to fit over your gums. Additionally, small metal clips will connect your prosthesis to your natural teeth, providing more stability. We work carefully to create these dentures, and your restoration will correspond with the shape and color of your natural teeth.

  • FIXED IMPLANT-SUPPORTED DENTURES

After placing dental implants, Dr. Robles can attach a permanent denture to the tops of the posts. Implant-supported dentures may be full or partial. These dentures will also improve oral health because dental implants prevent bone loss and provide superior support for your restoration.

On an aesthetic level, your denture can restore your smile. This restorative option can also fill out your lips and cheeks, helping to maintain a more youthful appearance.

  • OVERDENTURES

Dr. Robles can place dental implants with specialized attachment pieces that allow you to remove your denture. A removable implant-supported overdenture will still be more secure than a traditional prosthetic. At the same time, it can be a good option if you do not qualify for a fixed implant denture. You will be able to take out this restoration to clean it, and you can also remove it while you sleep.
